Right to Repair

If SAHA fails to complete a repair within timescale after the second time it has been reported by a resident, the the resident may be entitled to compensation as follows:

• £10 - one off payment
• £2 - for each day the repair continues ro be outstanding after the second time it has been reported

The right to repair compensation is not payable if the tenant has failed to give access to the association for the work to be inspected or carried out.

If you feel that SAHA has failed to address a repair and that compensation may be due please contact Customer Services Centre who will log the matter as a complaint.
